AirManiax is a new indoor adventure park in Dubai! It’s brilliant for little ones as well as big kids and adults too!
Our experience
I took Mason (nearly 3 at the time) on a rare rainy morning here in Dubai. We took advantage of the special weekday offer (valid between 10am-1pm) of a two hour toddler session and free coffee for just 60aed! What a bargain!
We arrived for 10am and were the only ones there! Mason had free run of the park to himself. What’s more… because it was empty they allowed him to explore the rest of the facilities not just the toddler area. The toddler area is great for crawlers/early walkers but Mason soon got bored in there as the slide is relatively small.
He did however love the bigger stuff! The staff were all great, especially Bill! He helped Mason on obstacles and showed him around the whole adventure park! I’m pregnant so this was a great help and really appreciated! Mason loved it!!! For all the action videos check out my Instagram page here!
I got my free coffee upstairs in the cafe and bought Mason a cookie. There’s also a small soft play area up there perfect for little ones whilst parents enjoy a coffee break.
What I liked:
- Lots to do for all ages
- Amazing staff
- Free grippy socks
- Clean
- Free parking
- Air conditioned
- Well lit
- Visible and clear Safety notices
- Lockers
- Small soft play area in upstairs cafe
- High chairs available
- Low and high level seating in the cafe.
- Good visibility from the cafe viewing deck of the adventure park.
- Small contained toddler area perfect for crawlers and new walkers!
What could be improved:
- They only have baby changing facilities in the ladies restroom. I did speak to staff about this and they’re considering putting facilities in the mens restroom too!
- Stairs access only to the cafe upstairs. No lift for strollers etc. Their amazing staff will however help you up.
- There are two stair cases leading to the cafe upstairs. Once upstairs the stairs are exposed so just be wary with little ones who haven’t yet developed a sense boundaries and danger. They could easily run off onto the stairs.
- children’s meals only. No adult meals aside from pastries and snacks.
Final thoughts
It’s definitely worth checking out especially if you want to escape the heat or in our case the rain on the rare days! They also have birthday packages and fitness classes too! AND a zip tag indoor zip line for anyone over 94cm tall! Check out their Instagram page here for the latest on what’s on!
