The weather is absolutely perfect in February so we made the most of being out and about. Keep reading to see what we got up to. There are some fab ideas for days out during the cooler months of Dubai.
Busy busy busy
Life with a 7 month old and a nearly 4 year old is crazy at the best of times let alone when it’s half term. Some of the days out/activities are best suited for just Mason as it wouldn’t be fair to have Ellis just sat in his pram the whole time.

Emirates Bio Farm – At just 35aed per person and kids under 6 free. it’s easy to see why this is a popular choice! It’s fun, educational and OPEN EARLY. Opening times mon-sat (closed on Sundays), are 8am – 5pm for the lovely cafe/restaurant and farm tours are 9am – 4pm.
There’s everything from pick your own veg (at no extra cost), tractor rides, and a play area. They also sell fresh organic fruit and veggies too in their farm shop. Park Play Dates – Easy, cheap and fun. We usually pitch up for the day, taking a picnic blanket, snacks, lunch and drinks.
Swimming – Again cheap, easy and fun. We tend to go most afternoons once the pool in our community is warmer from the midday sun. Both the boys love it and it’s something we really enjoy together!
Ceramic Cafe – This is one for when the days are a little hot and some AC is needed! There’s a lovely ceramics cafe in Motor City. Click here to see the details and more pictures of the Step Up Cermanics Cafe on my Instagram page.
Non toxic paint safe even for babies!You can select and paint a ceramic from the wide choice they have available… they have everything from cars, coasters, mugs and bowls to unicorns, frogs, plates and everything inbetween! They serve hot and cold drinks and food. It’s perfect for play dates too.
The staff are super friendly and helped me to do the kids handprints on coasters. They came out so well and are now sitting proudly in my lounge! Such a beautiful keepsake!
